Who says you can’t exchange vows during a private ceremony and still celebrate among your extended family and friends? That’s exactly what this couple decided to do. With the help of Details Made Simple, Lauren and AJ transformed their new backyard into the picture-perfect wedding reception under a tent with meaningful DIY details. From Olivia Christina Photography…Lauren and AJ decided to elope in a private ceremony with only their family present, but wanted to still share in their wedded bliss with all of their extended family and friends. Since they had just recently bought a house together, they decided to throw their wedding reception in a beautiful tent in their new backyard, a la “Father of the Bride”. The couple had a mix of DIY touches as well as a team of professionals helping to make their reception the elegant and casual affair that they dreamed of.
