Romantic and elegant weddings…oh how we adore you. There’s nothing quite like a traditional marriage celebration to pull on our heart strings. Add in a pretty in blush pink color palette, custom wedding stationery, gorgeous florals and a whole lot of love and you have yourselves one magical day. Not to mention, Lindsay’s Pronovias gown with lace bodice and sleeves looks like it was made just for her. Idalia Photography captured the most perfect moments from this New Jersey wedding at Doolan’s Shore Club and we’re sharing the details below.
From Idalia Photography…Lindsay and Andrew met thanks to mutual friends at a local Jersey Shore bar. With the help of Bogath Weddings and Events, they planned a beautiful nautical winter wedding over Thanksgiving weekend 2016. They chose a color scheme of white, black, blush, and metallics in gold and silver, with some bling and small nautical details. They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at which guests were greeted by an over-sized hand lettered sign in an antique metallic gold and silver frame that stated “Welcome: Let the Adventure Begin.” Guests were given programs created by Holland Designs using silver paper backing a beautiful design tied with a blush ribbon, the same ribbon used to accent the floral garland placed on the welcome sign. Their reception was at Doolan’s Shore Club in Spring Lake, NJ. Their escort cards were used to create an amazing display when placed on each guests champagne glass with a large silver candelabra centerpiece with hydrangea, wax flower with dusty miller all set on a table covered in gold sequins. Tables in the reception were set with gold and silver metallic elements including nautical knots holding their table numbers, individual gold containers of popcorn, and mini bottles of sambuca used later that night for a traditional family toast. This gorgeous nautical winter wedding was filled with amazing floral details and was a blast of a party.
