Every Monday afternoon should consist of pretty bridal shower details, don’t you think? Although we see our fair share of beautiful weddings, we get equally excited when pretty parties are sent our way and Ashley’s special day is no exception! Planned to perfection by the bride’s mom, maid of honor, and bridesmaids, Ashley’s brunch bridal shower at The Graycliff was filled to the brim with DIY details incorporating the bride’s country California background. From the windowpane seating chart and shabby chic tablescapes to the mason jars, burlap banners, chalkboard details, and bath salt favors from San Francisco, it’s safe to say we love everything about this bridal shower! Lucky for us, it was all captured by Rebecca Mulvey Photography!
“I really loved all the paper goods and the way everything was tied together. My girls went above and beyond in the creative department!”
“My favorite part of the bridal shower was that we were not tied down by a ton of games and activities so everyone was able to visit with each other and eat as they pleased. We had a brunch buffet complete with pancakes, fruit, and bacon. The food was fantastic! The only games we had were a mad lib card that everyone filled out as they came in, a well wishes tag to write on and attach to their bottle of wine that guests were asked to bring with them, and ‘Who has John and Jameson?’ game. My maid of honor took a photo of my son and fiancé and photo shopped celebrity faces on them. These were face down on the tables until the end of the shower when she asked everyone to turn them over. Whoever had the real John and Jameson won!”
“My shower was planned by my Mom, Lora and Maid of Honor, Danielle, with help from all bridesmaids. There wasn’t so much a theme for the shower but we did want to incorporate my country California background. They used spring colors and flowers (hydrangeas, my favorite) with a splash of rustic (mason jars, burlap banners, galvanized bucket, chalkboards, old window seating chart). The shower was not a surprise, but I did get the surprise of my life when my aunt, sister, and brand new niece showed up to my apartment two days before my shower! I had never met my niece since she was born just six weeks prior to my shower.”
