From Jaye Kogut Photography…Kelsey and Joe locked eyes in high school. Since then, they’ve been inseparable. Kelsey herself states “Our relationship is definitely solid with so much history behind us.” I couldn’t agree more since working with these two. Kelsey wanted a garden setting for the engagement photos. Cue: Sayen Gardens. A hidden gem in Central, New Jersey. Kelsey wore an off-the-shoulder, A-Line dress from Francesca’s. Her earrings were also from there, too! She completed her outfit with nude heels from DSW. Joe wore a pink and white Express button down with navy blue pants from The Gap. He completed his look with a brown belt and brown shoes from Aldo. I couldn’t be more excited to photograph these two lovebirds’ wedding. Kelsey and Joe expressed their excited to finally be married. Besides being excited to celebrate their wedding day because it’s THEIR day, they are just ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
Kelsey’s proposal story: Long story short and from my (Kelsey’s) perspective, I had no idea it was going to happen! We had gone out to dinner for sushi (and I’m the one who asked him out to dinner, so I had no idea it was going to happen after) and when we got home, there was this beautiful and romantic setup on my porch. There was a glass table sitting at the end of my porch with floating candles, a rose and a card that was waiting there for me to be read. After I finished reading the card that said, “Just For You,” Joey was getting on his knee while pulling out the ring. It was amazing; it was the best surprise ever and both families were there to witness it and to celebrate after!
