For ALL Couples Getting Married

Oh, how we love opening our inboxes to classic weddings. And this glamorous soiree at The Rockleigh Country Club does not disappoint in the least bit. From the bride’s Pronovias gown (which she accessorized with a cathedral-length veil and statement drop earrings) to the romantic color palette, lush florals, and architecture used throughout the couple’s portraits, Stefanie and Paul got each and every detail so right! Lucky for us, Kasia R Photography was behind the lens throughout the entire day and is sharing all the pretty with us below.

From the bride…We met online! he told me he found me on Bumble app but instead of waiting for me to swipe for him he searched my name on Facebook and sent me a friend request. Eventually I noticed his request and pretty much as soon as I accepted he messaged me. We met for a drink after chatting for a while. During our first date we discovered that we grew up in the same town but had no mutual friends so we must of crossed paths 100 times over the course of our lives. I feel like it was meant to be! He proposed to me in our empty apartment that we were planning to move into the following weekend. We went to visit the apartment before moving in to take measurements of the empty space and as I had my back turned talking about where to put the table he dropped on his knee to surprise me. Little did I know he propped his cell phone against the wall so he could film the entire thing!

I got so lucky with the weather! We had a perfect spring day warm sun cool breeze no humidity. Once we found our venue that set the tone for the style of our wedding. The inspiration behind my wedding day was glamorous romance. I wanted everything to be elegant, classic, clean white, and sparkly. Our ceremony was held at the same church my parents got married at so it was really special to have it there even though it was a far distance from our reception venue.

I used flowers and candles for pretty much everything. My bouquet and floral arrangements were stunning I’m so thrilled with how they came out. I actually saved my bouquet and dried them out so I can keep them forever. I definitely wanted the flower arrangements to play into the style of my wedding. I wanted the arrangements to be light colors with delicate fresh white flowers. We added a few sandy blush toned Tibetan roses to break up the puffy white hydrangeas and orchids and they really popped in the photos. The extra large arrangements and crystal pedestals added so much extra glam and sparkle to the already sparkly dining room. My jaw dropped when we saw everything come together!

We had so much fun planning this part of the wedding! Our DJ encouraged us to get sparklers and at first I was like ehh that might be corny but boy am I happy we did it cause no one was expecting that! Everyone was totally blown away by the show! My husband is a big baseball fan so growing up playing baseball after the game he he got to get an ice cream cone. So we thought it would be such a fun idea to end the night with an ice cream truck! We found this company called Lexilicious and they make fresh baked cookie ice cream sandwiches. Everyone got to take home an ice cream sandwich leaving the wedding!
