For ALL Couples Getting Married

There are few things more romantic than Bora Bora. Well, perhaps a proposal in Bora Bora! This gallery captured through the lens of Bora Bora Photographer Damien Gobron is sure to whisk you off your feet today! James not only planned a boat ride to a private island to surprise Dianna with a candlelight dinner on the motu at the Four Seasons Resort, but got down on one knee in one of the most beautiful locales in the world. Talk about an engagement of a lifetime. Take a peek at the images below, but fair warning….they’re going to instantly captivate you!

From Bora Bora Photographer Damien Gobron…Bora Bora is one of the few places on earth that everyone hopes to witness in their lifetime and once you see it, you are forever enamoured. It comes as no surprise that Bora Bora is an internationally acclaimed top best proposal destinations in the world. Thanks to its amorous essence and striking beauty, Bora Bora almost proclaims your love for your loved one by itself, though there are countless creative ways you can choose to get down on one knee to make your wedding proposal especially creative and one of a kind. Each resort has a romantic concierge / wedding team exclusively here to make your every wish come true,  getting down on one knee surrounded by candles with mount Otemanu and the sunset as your backdrop during a romantic beach dinner is what Jim chose to propose Dianna. Jim pop the question to Dianna on a little island, they arrived by canoe and  he surprised her after with a romantic private island dinner. A little secluded private island and the gentle stillness of the lagoon provide an intimate setting for a meal on the beach.  International French chefs from Four Seasons Bora Bora spoiled their taste buds with delicacies during a candlelit dinner. The way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and with such set up and backdrop, not to mention the delicious dishes, her ‘yes’ will surely echo across the Pacific Ocean. To offer a full cultural experience Jim requested a ukulele player to create a very intimate and romantic mood.

We work in a similar line of work. One that is at times, both physically and mentally exhausting. I think one of the best things about our relationship is that we understand that some days are more difficult than others. Some things don’t have to be explained between us, if I come home and work was emotionally draining, I don’t have to explain myself. A simple “come here you need a hug”. He is my rock and my absolute best support system. I think once you work in this type of line of duty you grow a true appreciation of life: as long as everyone is happy, healthy and safe, then life is good. I was absolutely sure James was the one when I saw that genuine and golden heart. There’s not one particular moment I can recall, instead it’s a series ways he’s shown me his kind self. He always puts others first; He’s the man that shows up for you no matter what. I knew Dianna was the one for me because she pushes me to be better. I was sure I never wanted to get married, but when I met her everything changed.
