From Idalia Photography…Chelsea and Jeffrey have known each other since they were kids in middle school! Who would have guessed the new kid on the bus in 6th grade would turn out to be Chelsea’s husband all these years later? After the two reconnected following high school, their relationship bloomed into something special. Almost immediately, Chelsea and Jeffrey knew they would wind up together forever. Today I get to share a peek at the beginning of the next chapter in their lives: their English Manor wedding! Chelsea and Jeffrey had the best Fourth of July this year because that’s when they got married at the beautiful English Manor in Ocean, NJ. Their July wedding was absolutely stunning and had a whimsical garden feel to it. Playing up on the elegant yet traditional vibe of the English Manor, Chelsea and Jeffrey worked with Bogath Weddings and Events to create an equally elegant day. The two chose a neutral color scheme of ivories, mauve, and beige, which all came together perfectly. Eastlin Floral Design created some truly beautiful floral pieces focusing on all white flowers for both Chelsea and her bridesmaids. Chelsea decided to add some light pink roses for a little pop of color in the bouquets and it was a perfect choice!

When I envisioned my wedding, I have always wanted something elegant but with a little bit of modern flare. For years I have dreamed up many different pallets and concepts, but when it came down to it I really loved a clean, neutral look with little pops of color. One of my must haves was being outside, somewhere beautiful for at least one part of our special day. The venue we ended up choosing was based off of this idea. The English Manor has lush gardens and a stunning outside landscape, which made this vision easily come alive. We were able to hold our ceremony and cocktail hour on their grounds, which were in full bloom. This allowed for the rich sense of elegance I was looking for. During our wedding we wanted to make sure that our faith was represented throughout the day. Jeff and I chose to have our fathers read special pieces of scripture during our ceremony, as well as have our mothers light a unity candle together. Something else that was very special to us was having our personal pastor, Michael Mrazek officiate the big day. He has been a very big part of our lives, from being our Youth Pastor as teenagers and now our pastor at our church.

When it came to decorating I really wanted to have flowers incorporated into every aspect of the day. I wanted a very light and airy feel to everything within the ceremony and reception space. For the ceremony, at the entrance of the aisle I had a beautiful display of modern shaped lanterns that were filled with different sized floral arrangements. I then included amazing clear acetate signage from, The Shaded Maple. They created a beautiful seating chart and welcome sign, with a pink background, to go perfectly with our reception signage and table numbers. My aisle was line with ivory petals that led up to the metal gazebo. Here my florist installed a hanging floral backdrop with a beautiful arrangement on the left side. This was by far one of my favorite aspects of my decor. As for the reception, I kept everything in the neutral ivory tones such as tablecloths, napkins and dishware. I had lush floral arrangements on every other table and on the opposing tables were and arrangement of different sized glass vases, filled with candles. The candles gave such a romantic mood to the reception space once it became nighttime.

The flowers, oh my gosh they were what I was looking forward to most. I have always had a love for floral, so it was really important to find a florist that was the perfect fit for me. Boy, did I find her! Erin, the owner of Eastlin Floral Design, was amazing to work with. I wanted flowers incorporated in just about every aspect of wedding. Erin listened to my vision and truly made it come alive. I wanted very neutral toned flowers such as peonies, anemones, ranunculus, and eucalyptus within my arrangements, with just a little pop of mauve too! She created truly stunning bouquets for myself and all of my bridesmaids, as well as the boutineers for the groomsmen. The hanging floral backdrop and the floral arrangements and the entrance of my aisle were just to die for.
