Finding her wedding gown was an easy process for Jessica. Although she always saw herself wearing a mermaid-style dress, her mother suggested she try on a ball gown style with ruffled skirt. As she turned to look in the mirror, she started to cry and knew this was her dress.
Jessica’s bridal bouquet consisted of white roses and stephanotis with blue rhinestones and embellished with a blue satin ribbon and a rhinestone wrap.
Following their engagement in Florida, Jessica began her search for the perfect facility to host their wedding reception. Upon visiting The Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada, Jessica and Robert were impressed by the overall facility and loved the huge dance floor, chandeliers, cocktail hour room with a fireplace, and personable staff. Additionally, they liked how the packages were completely customizable and the convenience of onsite accommodations.Jessica and Robert’s first dance as husband and wife was truly a magical moment as they danced to “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes. At the end of the dance, the music cut out, and the newlyweds broke out into a choreographed number to “Give Me Everything (Tonight)” by Pitbull. The Proposal: For Jessica’s birthday, the two took a vacation to Florida, where they spent a day in Boca Raton before heading to Key West the following day. They headed to Mallory Square, where they walked around and took pictures. As Robert pulled Jessica in for one more photo and kissed her on the cheek, little did she know this would be the last picture they would take as boyfriend and girlfriend. They continued to walk, enjoying their surroundings, until they approached a street performer who was about 30 feet in the air on a unicycle. As the performer opened a sign that read, “How’s this for originality, Jess? Will you marry me?” Jessica turned around to find Robert on one knee. “I was in complete shock and disbelief,” she reminisced.
Bride’s favorite memory of the day: I would have to say that having the doors open as my Dad escorted me down the aisle was my favorite part. Seeing my fiancé’s face as he saw me walking towards him is a memory I will have etched in my heart forever. He had tears in his eyes, as did I. He looked so incredibly handsome. My heart melted as I nervously approached him. My dad lifting my veil over my head, kissing me, and hugging Bobby as he gave him my hand, is a moment in time that I will remember forever. Turning around and walking toward the Deacon together had me shaking. I was filled with nerves and excitement all at the same time. I could not believe I was about to marry the love of my life and my one true soul mate.
Groom’s favorite memory of the day: My favorite memory of the day was anxiously awaiting my bride to come down the aisle. I could not believe the day had finally come. I was finally going to marry the girl of my dreams that I had met at college years ago. I was finally going to see her in her white dress. She was finally going to be my wife and the woman I started my life with. I could not wait to see how beautiful she looked.
