For ALL Couples Getting Married

This rustic backyard styled shoot proves that you can have an amazing wedding day filled with pretty details, even if it’s an elopement! We’re loving the bride’s lace open back dress, the groom’s casual style, the open field, and lush florals. Just one look at the greenery garlands alone and you’re going to fall in love with the minimalist style. Take a peek at our favorites captured through the lens of Samantha Rule Photography below.

From Samantha Rule Photography…This shoot, inspired by the brides who no longer are able to have their big, dream wedding day, is meant to show that a small, intimate elopement can still be beautiful and memorable. Local Floral Designer, Wedding & Tuxedo Connection, artfully crafted the bridal bouquet while Dee’s Decorating put together the elegant mantle and tablescape. The simple color scheme of greens and whites was tied into the simple beauty of this lakeside elopement.

The inspiration behind this shoot stemmed from wanting to show brides how beautiful and simple an elopement-style wedding can be. Plans have changed and wedding venues are booked up, but it shouldn’t stop a couple from having a gorgeous, minimalistic wedding. Wanting to stick with simplicity and minimalism, the florals and greenery chosen were kept neutral and fresh, allowing us  to enjoy the rolling hills and scenery around us. The decorator, Dee, provided and decorated the beautiful mantlepiece to add a bit of elegance to the backdrop.

The bride chose a simple, detailed dress with crocheted-lace long sleeves. Wanting to also keep it simple and minimal for her groom, the bride chose white shirt with suspenders for her groom. The final elegant details could be found in the hand-arranged floral bouquet and flower/greenery crown for the bride.
