We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the week than by mentally escaping to Costa Rica for an intimate destination wedding. Jesse and Matt dreamed of having a tropical wedding and after searching “destination beach weddings” on Pinterest, Hotel Parador instantly captured their hearts. With one look of Jesse and Matt’s photos, we can totally see why they decided to whisk their closest friends and family away to celebrate their “I do’s.” From being surrounded by tropical rainforest, breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean to the lush tropical foliage, amazing golden hour light and simple statement-making details captured by Paris Photographer Pierre, there’s so much to love about this destination wedding.
From the bride…“We started dating in 2004 when we were in high school. Our relationship blossomed and we went to college and nursing school together, worked together and moved to Miami to complete our masters degree together. I think our friends knew we were getting married before we did. We got called “an old married couple” before I had graduated high school. Matt porposed on Nov. 2, 2015. We purchased our first home and this was our closing date. Matt had picked up the ring a few days prior and knew that it was the perfect time. My mind was giddy with visions of paint samples and redecorating, while Matt was nervous preparing to ask me to marry him. We were in the house and had just finished lunch when suddenly Matt got down on one knee and proposed by the fireplace. I had no idea and was completely shocked but obviously said yes. It was perfect.”
