This New Jersey wedding at Stone Harbor Golf Club is exactly what comes to mind when we think of elegant weddings. From Idalia Photography…Amy and Mark met while they were students at Lehigh University. They connected over accounting homework and soon they were studying for every exam together. Their friendship evolved into a beautiful relationship and Amy and Mark are now married! This June wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their new marriage and I’m so excited to share it today on the blog. You are going to love this elegant affair with perfect white, gray, and green touches.
For their wedding, Amy and Mark chose southern New Jersey where Amy has loved to vacation with her family for years. They started their day out at ICONA Avalon Resort and got ready there with their family and friends. They had the prettiest views of the water and the most beautiful natural light to get ready in – a photographer’s dream! When it came time for their first look, Amy and Mark chose to see each other for the first time at their venue, Stone Harbor Golf Club. I loved the neutral backdrops their venue provided and was thankful for the shade provided on what was one of the brightest summer days we’ve had so far.
Amy and Mark were married at Sacred Heart Church in a traditional ceremony followed by a fun bubble exit that led them into a cute white trolley.
I love that by the time we arrived at the reception, we had already done most of Amy and Mark’s portraits because it allowed them to really enjoy their cocktail hour with family and friends who had come from near and far. My favorite part of the day was when we went out for sunset portraits just before the sun was dipping behind the tree-line. Wait until you see the beautiful golden hour photos we were able to get of our bride and groom.
